Happy days! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Who is eligible for EC Regulation 261\/2004 compensation?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Passengers who have a&nbsp;valid ticket&nbsp;and&nbsp;booking confirmation \u2705<\/li><li>Passengers who:&nbsp;start their trip at an EU airport or land in an EU  airport, provided that the airline is headquartered in the EU \u2705<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It doesn\u2019t matter if the passengers are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Using a low-cost airline<\/li><li>Booked on a package holiday<\/li><li>On a business trip or<\/li><li>Children (on a paid ticket) or<\/li><li>Flying on free or reduced tickets under customer loyalty or promotional programmes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>The EU Regulation does not apply to:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Passengers travelling on a free or reduced-fare that is not available to the public either directly or indirectly. \u274c<\/li><li>Air passengers that did not check in on time.
